  1. 1. I Get That All The TimeListen
Written by Matt Lopez / Jason Deere / John Bettis

I Get That All The Time

He stopped me on the street
He was wearin' a backwards baseball hat
I've never seen the devil smile, but I bet it looks a lot like that
From his coat of worn out rags
He flashed me a plastic bag and said
'Hey this will get you high tonight'
And I said 'no thanks, I get that all the time'

When I walk in to my kitchen
    Kids are screamin' dinner's burnin'
And I'm reminded we've got PTA tonight
When I'm kneeling down and feeling
All those little arms around me
And my wife has got the bedroom in her eyes
Yeah buddy, when you get that kind of love
It's the world's best kind of drug
Man I get that all the time

A stranger in a cotton dress
So thin the sunlight came right through
I've been a man for long enough
To know that come-on look she used
She sat down next to me
Brushed her hand across my knee and said
'I'll give you the best night of your life'
And I said 'no thanks, ya see I get that all the time'

When I walk in to my kitchen
    Kids are screamin' dinner's burnin'
And I'm reminded we've got PTA tonight
When I'm kneeling down and feeling
All those little arms around me
And my wife has got the bedroom in her eyes
Yeah buddy, when you get that kind of love
It's the world's best kind of drug
Yeah I get that all the time

When I'm kneeling down and feeling all those little arms around me
And my wife has got the bedroom in her eyes
Yeah buddy when you get that kind of love
It's the only kind of drug
That gives peace of mind in this crazy life of mine
And I get that all the time
Yeah I get that all the time

  2. 2. Don't Rock ItListen
Written by Matt Lopez / Stephanie Lewis

    Don’t Rock It

We got a seven year old architect
Buildin’ villages with his Lego set
And a ballerina right down the hall
Keith Urban poster on the wall
We got every kind of different kind of dreamer
    Here in this family
We got an activist on this cow farm
    Swears she’s a vegetarian
    A left wing liberal democrat
And a right wing singer in a John Deer hat
We’re aloud to be who we wanna be
    Here in this family

We don’t always agree, and we don’t always get along
And there’s always gonna be another storm
But when it comes you just can’t stop it
We’re in the same boat, so don’t rock it
We stick together, in every kind of weather
Don’t knock it, and don’t rock it

We got high-rise livin' and trailer parks
Hay fields swing sets and back yards
Real go-getters and laid back Joes
    Lions, Tin-men and scarecrows
We’re aloud to be who we wanna be
    Here in America
We drive SUVs with kids in the back
    Beat up trucks and Cadillac’s
    Wearin’ overalls and three-piece suites
    Sneakers, flip-flops and cowboy boots
We got every kind of different kind of life
    Here in America

We don’t always agree, and we don’t always get along
And there’s always gonna be another storm
But when it comes you just can’t stop it
We’re in the same boat, so don’t rock it
We stick together, in every kind of weather
So don’t knock it, and don’t rock it

  3. 3. When The Smoke ClearsListen
Written by Matt Lopez / Don Rollins

    When The Smoke Clears

He bought me a drink, and offered a light
Said friend, where’s the ring you had on last night
Then he said man to man I understand
That wedding bands get heavy sometimes
    But don’t cross that line

        'Cause when the smoke clears
The heat of the moment has disappeared
        And you’re alone
        You spend one night
Then live in that shadow for years
        Regret’s all that’s here
        When the smoke clears

He said I’ve been there, sittin’ right where you are
And that’s why I’m here, everyday in this bar
Her name was Emily, she worshiped me, our son was three
    Now he’s twenty-five
And he don’t know I’m alive

        When the smoke clears
The heat of the moment has disappeared
        And you’re alone
        You spend one night
Then live in that shadow for years
        Regret’s all that’s here
        When the smoke clears

  4. 4. County FairListen
Written by Craig Wiseman / Brad Crisler

    County Fair

They got the signs all up and down main street
They got the fire truck parked there all week
They're gonna hose the kids down every night

They got a rock band playin' their one hit
A hundred dollars for the furthest tobacco spit
Doris Delany's got first prize wrapped up
    Yeah, her and that Beechnut

Hey wanna see the Bubba Buddha
Yeah hear the music in the air
            Hey wanna ride the Barracuda
Holdin' on to you and a big stuffed bear
            Down at the county fair

They got the grandma's workin' in the kitchen
For that new blue ribbon fried chicken
They got the wanna-be Green Bean Queens dolled up
They got the carnies worrying the daddies
That double Ferris Wheel looks a little ratty
But we're gonna steal a kiss up on top it
Yeah we're gonna rock it, every time they stop it baby

Hey wanna see the Bubba Buddha
Yeah hear the music in the air
            Hey wanna ride the Barracuda
Holdin' on to you and a big stuffed bear
            Down at the county fair

Cotton candy, apple, somethin' fried on a stick
    See you here next year
You know you know I love it
You know I know you love it too

  5. 5. Due WestListen
Written by Tim Gates / Brad Hull / Matt Lopez / Jason Deere / Sonja Deere

    Due West

Three boys in three different towns
Somehow guitars ended up in their hands
And after high school, three fools headed east
The first time we sang together
We knew we would do this forever
Come feast or famine, we knew who we were born to be

And on the stage some nights it feels like we can fly
But on the road some days it feels like we might die
But then the blazin’ sun sets, and our hearts beat in our chests
        ‘Cause we’re headed Due West

There’s nothing like the big smiles on the front row
And all the dreamers that join us at the shows
And the late night parties after the lights go down
And all the blood sweat and tears just behind us
    Are life-long humble reminders
Of how lucky three boys are to be in your town

And on the stage some nights it feels like we can fly
But on the road some days it feels like we might die
But then the blazin’ sun sets, and our hearts beat in our chests
        ‘Cause we’re headed Due West

Late at night down on my knees
I ask God, please Lord please
Let these three boys keep on singin’

On the stage some nights it feels like we can fly
But on the road some days it feels like we might die
But then the blazin’ sun sets, oh and our hearts beat in our chests
        ‘Cause we’re headed Due West
Whoa whoa we're headed Due West

Na na na   na na  na na    na na...
